Man I thought I was the only one who had this issue at home. MY GF bitches about it time to time. but I tell her unless I sit infront of my machines, I can't help her through college or let her go shoe shopping

Just make them feel little guilty , they will be quiet. The other option is getting an office space outside of your home. But I would rather invest that rent into something that would make me more money .
