My friend talked with Utada Hikaru on the phone (I was in the room) 2 years ago. She sang "First Love" on speaker phone. Pretty cool!
Gackt = out of the scene -- jrock went out with a bang in 2000.
Ayu = Japan. She runs the country basically though she is 95% plastic.
Morning Musume = Terribly ugly, bad songs, but if you ever go to a poster store in Japan, 50% of the store is Morning Musume.
Kyoko Fukada = owns all. I'd kill for her.
