I have heard similar comments many times from consumers. I always try to keep my talking as a cameraman to a minimum during the sex part of the scene even in a reality video shoot, unless the premise specifically calls for it.

As far as the male actor's face being so ubiquitous in movies- that can be easily explained. Most male talent (even the pros) in the porn biz have to jerk their cocks off furiously to come, and not necessarily with aid from the girl. And there is almost always a pause in the action on set for them to prepare to do this and work it up and maybe for the lights to be adjusted and the most logical cutaway shot from a wide angle with both people in the shot to make a seamless edit is to a tight shot of the guy's face. Then edit them together as a straight jump cut (not a pan) to bridge the gap from the tail end of what might have been six and a half minutes of cock-jerking to the moment before he is about to finally unload on her face. It's either that or a picture on the wall or something.
