Apart from surfer familiarity of using their own currency, there is no obligation to just charge in dollars. And.. when other countries are used to paying more and see some website at say, $24.95 and a Euro value of 18.70 - it looks too cheap and *may* detract from the website.
Sure, there is a gain for webmasters when using the comparative buying power on the sample "Big Mac" index instead relying on one currency - this is not new. Even MacDonalds don't charge the same prices in eg Ohio that they do in Amsterdam :-)
Only my
worth, but smell this concept is going to increase rapidly - for various reasons and.. I'd rather have any other currency listed by Verotel than the US dollar.
