One big thing. Get yourself a sunlight reflector or two You want a White/Sunlight one and a Silver/Gold one. They are used to bounce light back on the model if you are shooting outdoors stuff. The sunlight colored reflector gives them a nice warm glow to there skin. Nothing worse then nose shadows when all you need is a 50.00 reflector to fill in the shadows. It also gives them a bit of nice color if they need it. I always buy the large size 5' x 5' collapsables.
