Getting some good answers in here now -- what actually causes a surfer to keep his membership past a trial is a mystery sometimes.
It used to be that certain types of sites were sure to retain -- i.e. single girl sites that updated regularly, well done niche sites, gay sites, but any more it seems that it's not quite that cut and dried.
One of the things we try to do with our clients is find ways to help them increase their income. Sometimes we can do that purely by analyzing overall stats for certain things, but sometimes I'd rather hear some opinions to get a starting point from.
