That was one of the problems when we did
www.cutiescash.com. It was impossible to hire a designer cuase all they wanted to do was show off and use as many fonts and colors as possible.
We had to underdesign to get the right feel of real amateurs. The sites are basic and done to look basic. They sell like crazy and it shows that you do not need some crazy designs !
