If it smells that fishy, you should get your girlfriend's pussy out from under your nose. As a former US soldier who has manned checkpoints, let me tell you something -- an unmarked car is an unmarked car. What, do you think the convoy was using a bullhorn to announce themselves? Carrying a big sign on top of the lead vehicle saying "herein rides so-and-so"? Of course not. Baghdad is a city of 5 million people, dumbass.

If the US Army had wanted that poor woman dead, she would be dead. Delta would have handled it, and Delta would have taken that woman out without missing. And they would have made sure the rounds they used would go through that piece of meat intelligence officer without slowing down. She would be dead if they were trying to take her out. That's not jingoism talking, that's a fact.

The Italians fucked up. They probably didn't pre-plan the route with the cooperation of US forces, and therefore either thought the roadblock was an insurgent roadblock, or just plain fucked the dog. Either way, the proof that the US wasn't trying to assassinate a woman in a car in Baghdad is the simple fact that she's alive at all.
