Got me thinking to Michigan who was ready to stop accepting waste from Ontario. They made a big fuss about accepting trash from Canada, then we offered more $$$ and the issue vanished. I think Michigan was making a valid claim....

I don't think Americans are 'nuts' per se, but unbridled and unchecked greed can lead to some really bizarre situations.
