The styles are very similar if you listen to them. A perfect example would be Tupac's "When Thugs Cry". Just listen to that ish dude... It sounds exactly like something Eminem would put out today. You can almost imagine Em singing it. I think Em is a better freestyler but when it comes to writtens, Tupac is the originator.
