You cannot honestly tell me that you would be "Okay" with that. Can you?
If you can, then this conversation is over. Because you need some help.
If you find a problem with it, then, the question arises... Who is to blame?
1. The Parent even though you did everything you could.
2. The Consumer (Your Kid)
3. The Producer for creating the atrocities
4. The FedEx Guy for delivering it
5. The Gov't for not restricting these types of consumables
6. The website for displaying it
7. Visa for allowing the charge
8. Or?????
If the law did not restrict these types of purchases, who would? Do you believe there should be no restrictions? Do you believe in the "Anything Goes" scenerio?
I'm not beefing with you, I'm just trying to understand. I personally don't care about it much either way, other than, I think allowing this type of stuff is going to make it VERY difficult to do business in the future. Restricting this type of content, will only help our industry.
Just some thoughts.

Noone's beefing bro. It's discussions like this that would make this board a better place. Both sides have their stance, and both sides are trying to see the others point of view. That's what it's all about.
Now you asked personally, would I be ok if my son or daughter ended up collecting this type of material? No for some of it. I would personally be upset that they had gone off on some weird sexual tangent that involved blood or mutilation, BUT, I still would not interfere. While I may not like what they are doing, if they are an adult, it's none of my business. I did my job. I tried to raise them the best I knew how. If they subscribe to some wild sexual practices that I don't quite understand, then that is their right. Just because I don't get off on something or understand it for that matter, doesn't mean that someone else shouldn't be allowed to enjoy it if it is their cup of tea. THAT is my point. Everyone has different tastes. Some are less tasteful than what you would consider normal. Some have much higher standards than you.
Should a religious person, who hates porn in all forms, have the right to tell you that you cannot view regular porn? Nothing extreme, just male/female.
Before you answer "No they shouldn't have a right to..." , think about the question in relation to this. They see all porn the same way you see EA's porn. It's all bad. To them, vanilla porn is just as bad as EA stuff. They don't approve of any of it. Do they have the right to say that you cannot watch regular old porn? It's immoral to them. But not immoral to you.
