off-the-shelf PCs are useless
i bought a nice higher-end Sony Vaio 6 months ago for $1300 (usd) at BestBuy and we broke it last month... piece of crap - totally melted the motherboard on it
this time i went custom with water-cooled system, etc... for $1900
so it makes me wonder who can use a PC for $300, when one that cost me a grand more is garbage?
