Actually it's Janet Jackson who is the hiest paid recording artist. But they were still paid well.
But nothing has yet to match the total net earnings of one signer/sonwriter and publisher:
Garth Brooks.
But you might be right on the $4 CD thing. They could very well be the highest paid "_____" per album. But they havn't had the highest selling album in ages. 99 is was manson. 00 it was nsync, ect... The seem to always fall between 5-10.
Not bad, though.
