i think you missed FATPad's point entirely. the current situation where priesthood attracts pedophiles is because like to said, a position of power and trust, but also because it masks tendencies.. if you're a priest no one asks why you're 40 and never been with a girl... by allowing them to marry you remove one of the masking factors.. who gives a fuck about their ability to give marital advice? it's the CHURCH.. there are plenty of doctrines on marriage.. let them see a counsellor or whatever.. do it for the kids.
fatpad didn't say "let them marry so they don't get frustrated".. he said "let them marry to attract well adjusted people".. (as well adjusted as a potential priest possibly can be at any rate)
