That raises a very good point ...

In a small town in Central Ontario ... everybody is into everybody else's business ... bullshit spreads like wildfire !!!

The family of the girl involved did not pursue criminal charges, as a means to protect their privacy ...

The girl was a couple years older than most grade 8 students (prolly held back a year or two) ... she could have well been within the age of consent (was 16 at the time) ... I am not sure

We had a handful of classmates who were Driving cars before the grade 8 year was finished ... (you have to be 16 to drive in Ontario)
