Great question, detoxed. Especially since not all of us have the luxury to set up a pimp PPC program of our own (like DomBuyer does
).
I use a variety of parking programs - taking the time to choose the best one for each domain. It gets tedious after a while, but the results are worth it. For the most part, I use
DomainSponsor <--- shameless refferal code linkage and Sedo.com. I also develop my own simple landing pages for some domains that do not seem to do well at any parking page. For these I use google adsense and FriendFinder for non-adult English traffic, and Amigos, AsianFriendFinder, IndianFriendFinder, etc. for non-English traffic.
The results between the different programs can be staggering. It's amazing how one type-in domain at DomainSponsor can earn 5 -to- 10 times more revenue than it does at Sedo. Conversely, gambling, loan, & credit card domains do much better for me at Sedo. Again, developing a simple affiliate page for these types also pays great.
A new resource I just stumbled on to compare parking income is
ParkingIncome.com. It's a brand new site, but domainers are already contributing to the database. This site compares and explains the benefits of each domain parking program and even compares them by CPM and RPC. A great tool for those who don't want to take the time and manually compare all the parking progams. They cover DomainHop, DomainSponsor, Sedo, Fabulous, Trafficz, Afternic, and DomainSpa. Definitely worth a look, and it should be completely functional in a few days (just launched this weekend).
