Actually, a life sentence is much cheaper than a death sentence. A typical death sentence runs over one million dollars. A life sentence is a couple hundred thousand.

I prefer life sentences anyway. I want those people sitting in jail for 30-40 years thinking over what they've done and living through hell with the other prisoners.
