Format C: (if you don't know how, click start, shut down, and select restart in MSDOS mode, when it reboots and you get the command prompt, type format C:, and answer yes to all of the questions)
Then I would reinstall windows, and norton system works. I'd use the norton wipe info on the free space of the drive, and then I'd format C again.....
Then load it up with whatever you had on there before.

Now this man knows what he's taking about....
If you do the Govt. Wipe...
About the only ones that could get any data is NSA...
they can get data off a drive that has had blow torch used on it...
Unless it's Cpmpletely melted.... into a big Glob...
If you have an old copy of Norton wipe disk and Dos 6.2 boot disk
I rePartion reformat, wipe.... install windows..... and do above again......
I've had to do this to get rid of some Virus...... I keep an old Notebook with dos 6.2 on it....old 486....
Other wise take the drive out take it "APART" then beat the shit out of it...... tehn go drop it off a high Bridge...
