Running a one minute ad on late nite tv isn't that expensive. Running a half hour infomercial is a million dollar project for the production and initial run, and in the hundreds of thousands per run after that. These costs include the money it takes to run the call center, the distribution centers, etc. as there is a lot more involved than just putting something on tv and paying for it to run...

This is why I'm impressed. I wasn't impressed at all by the :60 second spots they were running but they really did it up for the half (or full) hour infomercials. Not only is it blatent porn product running infomercials(!), the entertainment value is just as good as a 'Wild On...' on the E network! They spent a lot of money on this which means they are making a lot of money.
