The right thing to do is pull the links.

Legally, I don't think they can stop you. Drudge links to sites all the time that would prefer he didn't I suspect. He can swamp a server for sure. Since I'm not an attorney versed in that area of the law, MY opinion doesn't mean much. You could prolly get two answers from two different attoneys too.

You have no control who links to your site directly. I don't know what context you are linking to them in? If you are reporting a point of view or information they have, I believe that is all free speach as long as you site them or link to their index page etc.. If you are hot linking and using their art without permission, that is another issue. I think the context of your usage is paramont to the question.
