"She's got more offers than ever now ... don't they say any publicity is good publicity?" Michael Lohan told ABC's "Primetime Live" in an interview to be broadcast Thursday night. "People don't want the good things, they want the dirt."

The interview was conducted two weeks ago, before Michael Lohan was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a fiery car crash in the Long Island town of Syosset.

Lohan, 44, was the only occupant of the vehicle, which left a road and struck a utility pole shortly after midnight Saturday.

In December, he pleaded guilty to several charges, including assaulting a brother-in-law at his son's communion party, and was ordered into drug and alcohol treatment and therapy. He also was arrested last June for allegedly skipping out on a $3,800 bill for several suites at a hotel.

Divorce papers filed last month by his estranged wife, Dina, allege that Lohan threatened to kill her and their children. The divorce papers also describe several instances in which he allegedly beat his wife.

Lohan says in the ABC interview that he's interested in doing a reality TV show that "would follow us through the course of our divorce. Everything would be put on hold to begin with while we're shooting this, in an effort to become a family."

Lindsay Lohan, 18, starred in "Mean Girls," "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen," "Freaky Friday" and "The Parent Trap." Her upcoming films include "Herbie: Fully Loaded."
