Folks, pay attention, and look at Darrell's blog. The holy grail of adult blogging (and the reason you
ought to be wanting to get in on the act) is getting links and traffic from real, text-oriented noncommercial bloggers. That's traffic from outside the porn world, and though it's smarter less spendy trafic than I'd like, it's at least not exhausted from seeing a barrage of xxx advertising.
Darrell's blog comes closer than any of the other GFY efforts I've seen to being capable of getting those "non-porn blogger" links.
It's texty, the advertising is discrete, and the blogroll looks plausible.
Now, having said that, Darrell may be wondering "Forkbeard, I linked to your blog, why no return link?" Fair question.
Answer: there's still no
human voice to "Justine". That's a writing issue, and I'm not enough of a writer or editor to know how to fix it. But the blog still reads more like an issue of Penthouse Forum than anything human and natural.
No slam, just one man's reaction. Your mileage may vary. And folks should pay attention, because Darrell is going at this in something very close to the right way.
