Only time I have ever gotten that message was when using my cellphone to try to check my gmail email. And at my cousins house. She has AOL.
I have firefox 1.0.1 and I get no errors. No errors when I had 1.0 either. I really cant figure out what would be causing your problem. It shouldnt be an extension, they dont root themselves that deep into the browser.
