Ive had systems in my cars every since I had one. I won't turn it up loud when driving through residentials and normally turn it down when I am at a stop light.
There's something about loud music and bass that I like. Ive been in 5-10 competitions and placed almost everytime.
Alot of people arn't trying to attract attention from it. There is younger kids though who do it cause they think it makes them cool. I think its more of a hobby for me, tweaking my sound system (I do all the installs and custom work myself) and getting the best sound / look
