I don't know what you do but if I have even a single dollar left in my pocket it goes to them. Believe it or not there are some of us who do care about those people. I was homeless once so I know what it's like.
Is the homeless guy that I gave the dollar to going to probably go buy booze with it? Sure. Maybe not though. Who am I to judge what he does with it? He needed a buck so I gave him one with a couple nice words. Probably the most kindness he seen all day.
I guess there is no need to ask what you do when you drive past them...
