LOL, the Pacific hits 70 or so for a week in the summer maybe. The rest of the time it's cold. So, if it's 60 degrees, raining, and the water coming on deck is 60 degrees (which is somewhere near accurate), you can actually get hypothermia without even falling in the water.
It's not the ambient air temperature, it's the fact that you're soaked
But yeah, 60 degrees for the high is cold as fuck to me. I'm still trying to get used to it, I spent 4 years in Arizona, where the low might be 60 ;)
