You're missing my point.
When an affiliate signs up for a program and enters their social security number and other sensitive data on a form and hits send that data needs and should be encrypted, otherwise it is possible for it to be intercepted and seen by someone other than who it was intended for.
This also holds true for information that is entered or changed inside your affiliate administration area.
This is why every online bank admin, paypal, ccbill, paycom, etc etc encrypt the data that is sent from your browser.
So if this information was to fall into the wrong hands it is possible that they could use this info to help them hijack one of your domains or steal your identity, thus my comments on Domain Hijacking and Identity theft.
