It is great money is no object, but no need to waste it. Your first bike should be a used 500 or 600cc, well used should say. I guarantee you are going to drop that sucker several times, if not lay it down atleast one time. Your first bike should be light, not super fast, agile, and able to take some abuse. And a 500 or 600 will still be plenty fast for you. You are only going to keep it a few months until you become comfortable on it and have learned your lessons on how to ride and how not to drop your bike. My old roommate got a FZR 600. He pulled away from the curb and it fell over. My other friend got a Camel race bike delivered to his house.
