I agree and I wish the other 3 major sports would get a reality check as well. It just fucks the fans in the end. Idiots... fucking the customer is not a good business practice. The players want more so the owner gives it to them, well he doesn't want to cut into his profit so the cost get passed down to increase in ticket prices. I know it's not the american way, but i would love to see there be a cap on the salaries of individual players, with a lot of the money being paid in bonuses based on performace. I don't understand locking someone in for 7+ years for 100+ million. What's their incentive to perform, they have already been paid...
It's asshame there isn't more players who play because of their love for the sport and be happy to make an average couple mill a year.. You see a litle bit of that on the Pat's team, but that is few and far between. Most sports players are greedy self absurbed huge ego assholes once they start making millions.
