I'm really a very low key shy guy. This fricking Men.com deal got so much attention and honestly Odin, its not my style at all. I was just chatting on icq with another GFYer about this same thing.
If you saw me at a party, I'm the type that will sit in the corner and talk to a handful of people all night long. I'm not the type to start dancing on tables at all.
I also don't talk about any other deals cause why should I? Just add more fuel to the fire for people to bash my designs and sites. No way.
I like doing things simple. I'm very frugal. I'm not into ritz and glitz. So my sites are plain vanilla most of the time. I know they might not be academy award winners, but all I care about is that they make a profit.
I'll admit it hurts when people say Men.com sucks. I really think it looks pretty nice now. I can't wait till our personals affiliate program launches. Maybe then people won't bash it as much if they are making money off the name too.
Rick and I do have a very nice deal together on the big porn domains. I've done biz with him now for 3 years and we've got even bigger deals on one word mainstream domains. I've learned a lot from him about buying and selling domains and consider him the sharpest domainer in the biz. I know he values me also cause everything we've done together has made money.
