It's ironic that a fair number of these mines were laid by the US - presumably it would cost too many dollars to clean the crap up. A greenback is the motive for living isn't it?? :-)

Where has the US laid mines, other than Korea? If we were to remove mines from Korea we'd have to triple the amount of US troops stationed there.
