Don't forget, there's a fine old principle of law almost as old as the web itself that if a resource is publicly available for being linked to, the owner cannot forbid anyone from linking to it. There are some U.S. laws against denial of service attacks -- but I haven't seen anyone post the definition here, so it has yet to be established that what the Hun is doing is illegal even in the United States.
Which he is not. Which his "victim" is not. (Speaking of porn.ru here, I dunno nuthin about the other outfit.)
Is there a dutch law against Denial of Service attacks? I dunno. If there is, does it forbid them against anybody, or just against servers on dutch soil? Again, I dunno. Does the location of the Hun's server matter? Third time's the charm, I still dunno. Go ask a dutch lawyer and be prepared to pay handsomely for an answer.
Wait a minute! I betcha the Hun knows some dutch lawyers! I know he employs some. Do you suppose he might have asked them before he did this? Gee, I wonder, what are the odds?
If you don't like it, say so. If you don't agree that the Hun has the moral and ethical right to hoist some ripoff artist by his own petard, that's fine too. But if you want to say it's illegal, please provide a little more justification than "Well, it sorta looks like something that might be illegal if somebody in MY country did it to ME."
