Alright, heres my question about links, will links out to sites help the site that is linking to the sites? For example, if you have a site that sells food, lets call it food.com, and you sell several types of food, say perishable and non perishable, and within those perishable and non perisable main pages you have hundreds of links out to the main product, will it help the rank of your main page to provide links to all the main food products, or do the links from the main food products have to link back to the main page?

In other words, can you link food.com directly to several food items to help food.com's ranking, or in order to help the ranking of food.com would all the links from the individual pages have to be pointing to food.com?
