Don't know if you'll find a decent house in a decent neighborhood for $350k. Mine is priced at about $450k and I'm not even close to the beach. Prices right now are nuts. You're really better off renting until some of these people grow tired of having a "for sale" sign in their front yard.

I think 2004 was the second consecutive year that the San Diego population decreased.
