I've never been in an abusive relationship. I can't speak 100% for him, but I don't think that he has been in one (that I am awar of). I just said that his family is dysfunctional, so that is probably where it comes from, because I know it is learned behaviour and it goes through a cycle. But I know not EVERYONE that comes from a dysfunctional family ends up repeating the behaviours, in some cases, but not all. And he never got that angry before in 7 months, so I am hoping it's an isolated incident.
