A recent study of a fraction of the sky revealed that there is as many planets and stars in space as there are grains of sands on all the beaches of Earth. It really isn't that much of a stretch to think one or more of them have figured out a way to travel great distances. The only question is what in world (literally) would be so fascinating that they would actually want to visit us? It's beyond my imagination.
