All of that is well and fine, but you forget the most important contribution canada's made to daily life. No, I'm not talking about insulin.

Yes... the ubiquitous LIGHTBULB.

"Wait!" I hear you cry... "Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb."

Not so. Edison had the funds to fully develop the idea, but the original patents were awarded to two enterprising young toronto-area men, James Woodward and Mathhew Evans. Edison purchased the rights and developed the concept from there.
