I wouldn't be suprised if we see more of this sort of thing.
Once a feesable method of accurately verifying age over the internet becomes available the government will seriously consider requiring all adult themed sites to deploy the technology, much like the V-Chip.
For the patent holder of such technology, that will be good news. You want an adult site, you'll have to pay a royalty.
I still think the best way is to label sites with ICRA.org codes. MSIE comes standard with parental controls that make use of those codes, and kids simply can't get around it. The key is getting all adult sites to include it, which won't happen unless it's made into a law....
