We are on the threshold of a new era in technologically-assisted human interaction, that will usher in the convergence of many models and platforms that are today separate.
We will also see the "overflow" of models that have been proven on one platform into other, compatible, platforms. This is such a case. This is brilliant.
Don't be distracted by the head-scratching "VOD company does Dating" headline. This is simply a strong player in one medium recognizing it has the technological infrastructure necessary to emulate a successful model from another medium. We had all better be thinking this way.
