Huh!? A mono is cause by the Epstein Barr Virus. You can't cure a virus with antiobiotics.. Only time will cure it. What kind of stupid doctor did you go see?
And about the test, now they wait to see if it's a virus or a bacterial infection. They are doing this because they don't want to give antibiotics for nothing. Because there is a huge problem with the antibiotic resistance..
