SMS billing our new creditcard?
Last year SMS billing for ringtones, logos and such for mobile phones was about $45 million in Sweden and in Norway $113 million. A company called Jamba that sell ringtones, logos and such do more advertising then coca cola in europe at this point. The trend is people spend more and more money with their mobile phones and soon the market is ready for clothes, books cds etc. Telephone providers see an increase in people not able to pay their bills and the have to send them over to collector agencies. About 25% of their business are telephone related.
