How does it work?

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

First, you sign up. It takes less than a minute
Log in to your new Partner account
Enter your Sponsor Code(s) for each sponsor/website that we promote (yes, we are NATS-compatible!)
You can even customize most sponsors down to a specific program that they offer (i.e. Per Signup, Recurring, No Consoles), specify a Tracking/Campaign Code if they support such feature, and more!
Start sending your traffic using your ThumbsMag Link (i.e. http://www.thumbsmag.com/main.html?Partner-ID)

KEEPING TRACK OF THE SURFERS YOU SEND

The link you use to send your surfers to ThumbsMag contains your ThumbsMag Partner ID. When a surfer comes to the site using this link, your Partner ID is stored in a cookie on their computer. This enables us to keep track of their activity throughout the site even if they decide to leave and come back at a later time. Remember, you get 80% of the outgoing sponsor traffic whenever they visit directly using your ThumbsMag Link (and until they close their browser), and 70% when they come back and we successfully read your information using the cookie we originally saved.

Our Cookies do not expire, but can still be manually deleted by the surfer or overridden by another ThumbsMag Partner should the surfer visit using that Partner's Link. The same rule applies to you - if you happen to send a surfer who already has someone else's Partner ID saved in a cookie, yours will override it and from that moment on, you are his referrer.

COUNTING THE CLICKS...

It is important to understand that we count RAW clicks globally and not per Referral. We maintain two counters per Partner that allow us to apply the 80% and 70% rules. This is the order in which we will determine whose Sponsor Code to use in a Sponsor Link - yours or ours (the cycle repeats itself every 10 raw clicks):

When it's your "turn", your Sponsor Code for the specific sponsor gallery/paysite that was clicked will be used. If you did not tell us your Sponsor Code for that particular sponsor - you will lose that click. Therefore, it's important that you let us know as many Codes as possible!

Our Partners Program applies to the entire ThumbsMag site, including the Archive. However, up to 10% of all thumbs pointing to a gallery on each ThumbsMag Volume are PAID SPOTS and are not part of this Program.

We do not skim outgoing gallery traffic. If we have to accomodate link trades in a ThumbsMag Volume, we simply add text-links and banners as necessary. Gallery thumbs will always send the surfer to the actual gallery.

Stats and Performance Reports

Each click to a gallery and/or a paysite is accounted for. Always. This allows us to give you accurate real-time statistics, available to you in your Partner account area. Feel free to compare them to your sponsors' stats. We have absolutely nothing to hide! This is some of what we will tell you:

Outgoing clicks to Sponsors' hosted galleries (with hosted galleries, however, we can't track how many visit the paysite afterwards)
Visits to custom ThumbsMag Galleries that we host ourselves
