Once you have regular bookmarkers who read, understand and agree with your posts, it's much easier to sell them on something without even trying.

I run a few pornstar blogs and my highest revenue generating posts are when I post a medium sized image from a paysite with some text telling surfers exactly what's on the site, then link the image straight to the site.

Not only do SE's pick this up, but surfers see it as a well formed opinion with a solid reccomendation to join a site. Never do I write about the price of the site, nor do I try to sell them too hard with my text. Posting clear text of what they will find along with one (1), yes only 1, usually softcore pic is usually enough to generate sales well below 1:100.

I usually link to a few hosteds from my blogs (4 max), to give them a base of content (mainly so people will link them), but the updates usually consist of text, interesting sites, 1 or 2 photos, and occasionally a gallery. Nothing close to a TGP update...and surfers still come back!

Even though my name is TABOO, I am not affiliated with Hustler but this guy, Mike C, "understands" the nature of blogs. He knows what he's talking about... that's why you do not saturate blogs with PIX. The blogosphere knows what a true blog is & isn't, and if you want to tap into the power of blogs you must embrace the concept.

MikeC, what pornstar blogs do you run? I would love to link to them from my blog network (read the gfy thread) which will include hundreds of premium blog domains (adult & mainstream i.e. SexBlog.com, PornBlog.com, NewsBlog.com, TVBlog.com, LiveBlog.com etc) plus many blog services.

Thanks. You can post it here or email me:
