How is it difficult to fight an army that did not really want to fight and on top of that was under blockade for 10+ years?? And on top of that were bomb to the stoneage in most parts 10 years ago also.
Seriously, there is nothing historic about that.
And yes, Iran/US _WILL_ be much much more of a fight if the US is actually stupid enough to invade.
