Actually, Domi's hit DID cause a bad concussion, and Niedermayer missed a bunch of playoff games, and was basically ineffective for the rest of the playoffs. That hit fucked him up.
I think McLaren deserves what Domi got. They set the precedent, now lets see if his squeaky clean record cuts back the punishment. But he should be out for the playoffs, at least.
