If you guys are talking about the support for their free one year hosting when they first came out, then yeah, it sucked ass. but if you're a paying customer they have a 24/7 customer service 1-800 number to call, so they're not all that bad. Any time I've ever called, they had an answer or got one quickly. No support tickect bullshit like alot of other companies. Just keep in mind they are used to hosting people who are n00bs and not elite like us GFYers :p Their target market is joe bloe with a small to medium size business who want to start up a website for his company.
That being said, I'd reccomend checking out ServerProvider.com before 1&1.. support is off the hook, and great deals. Talk to Sami before making any decisions.
