I discovered just the other day (doh! It's probably been possible for quite some time) that ccbill makes it very easy to add a check box on my signup page where I say:
Join our mailing list: [Ckeck box]
And then a little PHP script I wrote joins the surfer to our list as part of the payment proces. Cool!
(My point is that ccbill is pretty good because of their flexibility like that)
