it depends on who u get on the line when u call to do the chargeback. some will put anything through and others won't.
dealing with a 3rd party processor like paypal chances are the chargeback will go through.
so u expect him to shell out the chargeback fee because of your mistake? u made the decision to buy it, it does exactly what it says, and if u already have software similar to it that u don't use, why the hell did u buy it?
take a step back for a minute and think about it. you're punishing him for your mistake.
