Tech: Just register a domain, come back and get space from us, change your name servers to match ns1.XXXXXXX with your registrar, and upload your site with the information I provided you.
Cust: 4 hours later: is my site up yet?
Tech: Did you register a domain name and sign up for our service?
Cust: No can;t you do all that for me?
