Doesn't have to be anyone who hasn't heard of the case, just people who attest that they can put aside everything they've heard and base their findings soley on what is presented in court.
The first part of your comment ("I have no real opinion, and I leave it up to the jury to decide after hearing what is amissable in court.) would make you a favorable candidate for the initial screening process.
